Energy Conservation Measure (ECM) Development
“Lean” organizations often find it difficult to devote manpower to the new projects related to ECMs identified in a Facility Energy Audit. Daily operation must take precedence. Our Associates can team with your personnel, or act as independent project leads, to implement ECMs so that your savings begin.
A no-capital ECM typically involves an operational change. Common tasks for this type of project are:
- Modify existing or develop new operating procedures.
- Develop methods to track results.
- Prepare and deliver Operator training.
A low-capital ECM often involves installation of or modification of equipment. Common tasks include:
- Develop scope for engineering design process.
- Assist in preparing purchase specifications.
- Prepare and deliver Operator training.
Appropriate personnel and information must be available to expedite ITA’s on-site work.
ECM Development work is typically conducted under the lot pricing option. The contract price is based on the value provided to the client by the no-capital and low-capital improvements specified by ITA.
