Facility Energy Audit
Our Associates review all of the facility’s energy inputs, energy conversion processes, and energy users for improvement opportunities. The Facility Energy Audit deliverable is a detailed list of potential no-capital or low-capital projects designed to reduce energy consumption or otherwise lower operating costs. The estimated cost and payback period for each potential project are included.
Duration:
- Facilities less than 1.2 MW = 2 days
- Facilities between 1.2 MW and 2.4 MW = 3 days
- Facilities between 2.4 MW and 5 MW = 5 days
- Facilities greater than 5 MW = treated on case-by-case basis
Note that there is the option to perform a Facility Energy Audit on only one utility system at a time. This service is most appropriate for large industrial facilities, which recognize the need for energy conservation and cost reduction but are not interested in the greater time commitment required to review all systems in one effort. This is an excellent opportunity for your company to quickly identify savings opportunities and to become familiar with our Associates and their capabilities.
Appropriate personnel and information must be available to expedite ITA’s on-site work.
The Facility Energy Audit is typically conducted under the lot pricing option. The contract price is based on the facility’s size and energy use.
