Single Utility System Assessment
The Full Facility Assessment model is applied to one utility system (steam generation and distribution, for example) at your facility. After a thorough review of the system’s operation, ITA develops a list of potential Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs). We review these no-capital and low-capital energy conservation and cost reduction projects with your personnel to ensure feasibility of each proposed ECM and to prioritize the list. The completed list of ECMs is ITA’s deliverable.
The duration of a Single Utility System Assessment is approximately one month. ITA conducts approximately two weeks of on-site work during the project.
This service is most appropriate for large industrial facilities, which recognize the need for energy conservation and cost reduction but are not interested in the greater time commitment required for a Full Facility Assessment. The Single Utility System Assessment is an excellent opportunity for your company to quickly identify savings opportunities and to become familiar with our Associates and their capabilities.
Appropriate personnel and information must be available to expedite ITA’s on-site work.
The Single Utility System Assessment is typically conducted under the lot pricing option, with the contract price based on the system’s size.
